Jory Wolf, Founder, Managing Partner

Jory and Matt started Green Management Partners to help high-quality and boutique brands thrive in the new cannabis markets. Their focus has been applying traditional business philosophies and operating efficiencies to the cannabis industry helping companies intelligently expand their businesses to new markets domestically and internationally. Jory received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He then was the Director of Community Relations and Recruiting for the prestigious California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He then decided to return to the world of Economics and for 5 years ran a very successful financial firm specializing in Small and medium size business planning. Jory then decided to return to his passion of sports and founded Athletes Business Consultants, a full-service firm for Athletes interested post career planning. In 2018 founded Green Management Partners which specializes in the Cannabis industry specifically helping cultivators, manufacturers, retail and distribution owners bridge the gap between the Cannabis and investment communities. He has consulted many local authorities throughout state of California as well as many well-known and extremely successful cultivation, manufacturing and retail brands. Working in the small business and financial industry has provided Jory with the first-hand experience of understanding the issues that cannabis businesses face, especially with respect to investments, financing and operations. Jory helps his clients develop and maintain policies, procedures, processes and risk mitigation best practices as well as manage and perform day-to-day internal operational tasks that are associated with the most successful cannabis operations. Jory’s consulting specialty is a comprehensive approach to the business side of cannabis that is necessary to ensure the future viability and legal protection of any recreational cannabis business. He also specializes in deal structure and analysis having completed multiple private and public investments and acquisitions in the cannabis space. Jory’s strongest assets is his large network of people and connections that he has built over the years and has access to in many areas.

Matt Bucciero, Founder, Managing Partner

Matt and Jory started Green Management Partners to help high-quality and boutique brands thrive in the new cannabis markets. Their focus has been applying traditional business philosophies and operating efficiencies to the cannabis industry helping companies intelligently expand their businesses to new markets domestically and internationally. Matt started in the cannabis industry over 5 years ago as a founder of Green Capital Management and the Gridiron Cannabis Coalition/Foundation. He started Gridiron Cannabis Foundation, comprised of current and former NFL players, focusing on research and education with cannabis for traumatic brain injury and long-term physical pain. Matt then founded Acentus Group which consulted with dozens of businesses on licensing, compliance, business efficiencies and scalability in addition to working on legislation in California and several states nationwide. In 2018, Matt founded Green Management Partners, helping unique cannabis businesses implement operational efficiencies and develop business practices that ensure fiscal compliance and improved market share. He specializes in establishing value add partnerships between top producers and large equity groups developing brands that can scale to market leaders in the cannabis industry. Matt began his career at Legg Mason Investments and later helped oversee $10+ billion in structured real estate assets for Fortress Investment Group. After which, he oversaw $500+ million in real estate acquisitions and dispositions between private equity groups Pathfinder Partners and Sovereign Capital in San Diego. Matt has a BS in Finance from Lehigh University.

Derek Scallet, Partner

A past Big 8 CPA having served in both audit and tax (a rarity), as well as, financial transaction advisor and manager, before becoming a finance and operations executive. Results-driven skills and experience were honed through complex restructurings onto, acquisition and divestiture, improving mature operations, and assessing start-ups. Responsible for meaningful improvements for $15 million regional companies to $2+ billion multinational operations, across varied sectors.

Substantial experience in enhancing value through optimized strategies -- solutions to match market scope and scale; setting goal directed benchmarks and milestones; enhancing communications; team building and leadership; and development and management of the capital stack. Participating in the U.S. cannabis industry since 2013: establishing early production and processing facilities in the emerging fully legal market (for the State of Washington); evaluating and valuing stand-alone and fully integrated production, processing, and retail (dispensary) operations (California and Oregon); extending/extrapolating standard market assessments for the state and nationwide market; working on support products for the industry, including accessories, data tracking tools, and the legalization (acceptance by the Federal Reserve) banking solutions.
